The System/36 to AS/400 RPG & OCL Conversion System

  • GoNative is a powerful and flexible conversion aid for the IBM AS/400. It eliminates the S/36 environment and adds the flexibility of a totally externally-described database. The conversion process is menu-driven with comprehensive on-line help.
  • GoNative is a totally integrated system which results in a much cleaner conversion. The conversion changes programs, screens, OCL and menus to use external files and standardises file and field names.
  • Other features of GoNative include its ability to create a data dictionary (field reference file), the ability to copy S/36 format data from QS36F to externally described files with decimal I/O error correction.
  • Source code errors are flagged with messages allowing corrections to be made interactively during the conversion process.
  • Conversion may be carried out by library, application or program. You can use the options to carry out a custom conversion tailored to suit your needs.
